What is in the box?
The Arcoche phone mount comes with:
- A two-part MagSafe phone mount, described as compatible with iPhone 12 mini and later MagSafe models.
- An adhesive magnetic ring for a suitable case on a phone without built-in MagSafe support.
Push the transparent plastic dashboard fitting into the magnetic holder, then tighten the adjustment wheel to secure the joint.
Main features
The review highlighted the following aspects of the Arcoche mount for Model 3 Highland:
Adjustable joint
The ball joint rotates through 360 degrees, allowing the phone’s angle to be set to suit the driver. Set the position before driving and use phone functions without taking attention away from the road.
Vehicle fit
The reviewed mount was designed for Model 3 Highland, described as October 2023 production onwards, to fit neatly into the dashboard design. Confirm compatibility with the current product listing.
Magnetic hold
The magnetic attachment is intended to keep a compatible phone firmly in place, including on uneven surfaces, without obstructing its connection.
Materials and protection
A cushioning silicone base helps protect the phone and dashboard from wear while supporting a stable fit.
Simple installation
The fitting clips into the dashboard vent area without tools, adhesive or a suction cup. It can also be removed quickly.
Clip the assembled product onto the dashboard as shown in the image; the fitting does not require glue or adhesive film.
The original review’s experience
The original Teslhub review tested the mount with an iPhone 15 Pro Max and reported a positive result. The phone stayed stable and well positioned, including on uneven roads, while fitting took only a few seconds. The reviewer also found the angle adjustment smooth and intuitive.
