The refreshed 2025 Tesla Model Y launched in Italy with changes to efficiency, technology and comfort. Following the Launch Series, the range expanded with three further versions of the popular electric SUV.

The 2025 Tesla Model Y range
The new Model Y range comprised three main variants, each with different specifications and prices:
- Model Y RWD (rear-wheel drive) – The entry-level version, aimed at buyers seeking an accessible electric SUV with solid performance and useful range.
- Model Y Long Range RWD (rear-wheel drive) – More range than the base version, intended for longer journeys.
- Model Y Long Range AWD (all-wheel drive) – The quickest of these three versions, with dual motors and all-wheel-drive traction.

Price increases over the previous version
Prices were slightly higher than for the previous Model Y range in Italy. The RWD version cost €2,210 more, while the other variants rose by around €1,000. Those increases came alongside improvements in energy efficiency and equipment. The prices in the table refer to the launch described in this article.
When were deliveries due to start?
First deliveries were expected from March 2025. With updated technology, improved range and strong efficiency, the refreshed Model Y was among the year’s most anticipated electric SUVs.
