Agrigento has joined the list of winning locations in the Supercharger vote. The latest selection includes 36 international destinations and brings renewed attention to Sicily, where the distribution of charging stations can make a difference to the convenience of electric travel.

The result identifies a future network location, rather than a station that has already opened. Tesla’s page does not give Agrigento a final address, charging power, stall count or opening date: adding those details now would anticipate information that has yet to be announced.

A new round, distinct from the previous one

Other winners include Dunaújváros in Hungary, Tripótamos in Greece, Tábor in the Czech Republic and Abrantes in Portugal. The programme gathers preferences internationally, highlighting areas where users would like more charging options.

This selection should not be confused with the previous round, which included Lamezia Terme. Both lists having 36 locations does not make them the same announcement: the voting cycle and the winning destinations are different.

How Supercharger voting works

Each cycle lasts three months and allows five votes in total, with one vote per location. Alongside choosing proposals already in the rankings, users can suggest a new destination for a future round through the dedicated portal.

Winning indicates the community’s stated priorities, but it is not enough to plan a charging stop. For a journey, what matters is which sites are actually open and shown as available in the navigation system and on Tesla’s map.

For Agrigento, the next development to watch is a concrete project taking shape. The vote highlights a local need; the address and construction timetable will show how that preference becomes another charging option.
