Tesla introduced a combination of Model Y promotions ahead of the anticipated 2025 refresh. The discounts and finance terms prompted questions about how close the much-discussed Juniper update might be. This archived article describes the Italian offers reported at the time and the choice buyers then faced between an available car and waiting for the refreshed model. It does not describe offers available today.
Tesla promotions: finance, Tesla Bonus and referral discount
The Model Y offers described in the original article included:
1. A 2.99% promotional finance rate, subject to the contemporary offer terms.
2. A €4,000 Tesla Bonus that the report described as combinable with other eligible offers.
3. A further €500 referral discount under the referral conditions then applicable.
The promotional rate and bonus had initially applied to the entry-level Model Y and Long Range RWD, as covered in our earlier video. The article then reported that Tesla extended the offers to inventory Performance and Long Range AWD cars. It described possible inventory savings of up to €8,000, with a further €500 through an eligible referral. These were contemporary offer claims, not a current guarantee that discounts can be combined.
How buyers could order a Model Y
The ordering steps described for those offers were:
1. Open the referral link before ordering: Tesla Referral. This is the original article’s historical link; check the current programme and terms before placing any order.
2. Choose “Order Now” or scroll to the available inventory vehicles.
3. For inventory cars, use the filters to find a suitable configuration.
Inventory listings correspond to individual vehicles. Once a particular car is bought, it is no longer available in the listing, so selection and discounts can change quickly.
Buy then or wait for Juniper?
The offers could appeal to buyers who wanted a Model Y without waiting for the anticipated 2025 Juniper refresh. Waiting, however, could bring worthwhile improvements in the new version. The choice depended on how much a buyer valued those potential changes compared with the savings and availability of an existing car. That was the decision at the time of the original article; its discounts and predictions should be read in that context.
