Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/teslhub.com\/en\/tesla-aggiornamento-2026-2-9-6-fsd-v14-3-e-molto-altro\/\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Dutch decision discussed in our earlier report<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>, the article described further developments in other countries. The scope of each decision matters: a national authorisation is not automatically a uniform European customer rollout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spain and Italy<\/strong> were the focus, with reports of testing, public requests and institutional engagement. Those developments indicated interest rather than a completed approval process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spain: testing and the reported results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/teslhub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Tesla-FSD-Spagna-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Tesla FSD in Spagna\" class=\"wp-image-5057\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article cited a communication attributed to Spain\u2019s Direcci\u00f3n General de Tr\u00e1fico. While the DGT is not the vehicle type-approval authority, the communication described support for advanced driving technologies within Spain\u2019s road-safety strategy for 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testing under the ES-AV programme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report attributed the following figures to Tesla\u2019s testing in Spain under the ES-AV framework:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>approximately <strong>30 test vehicles<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>almost <strong>80,000 kilometres driven<\/strong> since November 2025;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>no recorded accidents in the reported test sample<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the results could mean<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article described the Dutch decision as a potential opening for other countries. Use in Spain would still depend on the applicable approval requirements, including those associated with UN Regulation No. 171. <strong>The system remained Level 2 assistance, with the driver responsible<\/strong>. A limited accident-free test sample was not proof of safety in all conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Italy: growing institutional interest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/teslhub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/tesla-testa-fsd-a-roma-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Tesla FSD a Roma\" class=\"wp-image-5056\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the Dutch development, members of the Italian Tesla community pressed for access to FSD. The report said <strong>the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport had acknowledged the requests, forwarded a petition and begun discussions with the relevant departments and vehicle authorities<\/strong>. These reported administrative steps were not an Italian approval announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The author saw the engagement as a sign that the issue had entered the institutional agenda, while the actual regulatory outcome remained open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was the European path becoming clearer?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dutch decision could provide a reference point for further applications, alongside road testing and public interest. <strong>That did not mean immediate FSD availability across Europe<\/strong>. Each market\u2019s permissions, conditions and implementation still mattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the article expected next<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the process continued, possible developments included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>further national decisions referring to the Dutch precedent;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>road-test programmes expanding to other EU countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>limited supervised FSD releases outside the Netherlands, where authorised.
