Findings reported by firmware researcher Greentheonly in software version 2025.38 suggested a change to the feature\u2019s branding. <strong>Removing a label would not remove the requirement to supervise the system<\/strong>: the report said Tesla would retain the on-screen supervision reminder when Autosteer was activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Driver-monitoring changes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The software findings also included <strong>new driver-monitoring graphics<\/strong>. The article interpreted them as possible preparation for future changes, including speculation about looking away from the road. Software graphics and naming changes alone cannot confirm a new operating capability; drivers must follow the vehicle\u2019s instructions and applicable rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Geofenced FSD features in Europe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another string reportedly found in the code read: <em>\u201cApproaching a country border, FSD features might become unavailable\u201d<\/em>. The article saw it as evidence of preparations for country-dependent availability. It also cited an expected Netherlands introduction in February 2026, which was a forecast at publication rather than proof of approval or launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Geofencing can limit functions according to location<\/strong>, potentially making some features unavailable after a border crossing. The article compared the idea with restrictions near the US\u2013Mexico border.
