In 2024, Italy\u2019s policy on electric mobility faced a significant change. Business and Made in Italy minister Adolfo Urso said the government did not intend to continue with another round of electric-car purchase incentives<\/strong>, arguing that the previous bonuses had not achieved the objective of supporting domestic production. The funds opened on 3 June had been exhausted in just eight and a half hours, but Urso indicated that future public resources would instead focus on direct investment in manufacturing.
