The Tesla Model 3<\/strong>, alongside the larger Model Y, remained a benchmark for electric cars at the time of this review. Its combination of long range, advanced technology and futuristic design set a high standard for rivals. Drawing on the tests and road use described in the original Italian review, this article considers the refreshed car\u2019s main strengths and the areas where it could still improve. It retains that review\u2019s historical perspective and assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minimalist, elegant design<\/strong> continues inside, where a single large touchscreen replaces the familiar array of buttons and switches. It is an unconventional approach, but the original review found it more convenient and practical than it might initially appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the road, the original review praised the Model 3\u2019s combination of rapid electric acceleration, smooth power delivery, responsive handling and a quiet, relaxing cabin. Those qualities make it enjoyable on both city streets and longer journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Performance<\/strong> version adds appeal for drivers seeking stronger acceleration. The review\u2019s 2.9-second figure must not be confused with a 0\u2013100 km\/h time: Tesla distinguishes the US 0\u201360 mph measure from its European 0\u2013100 km\/h specification of 3.1 seconds. Market, configuration and test conditions matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Range and charging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Range was another major strength highlighted by the review. The figures cited for the versions discussed were up to 560 km WLTP<\/strong> for the rear-wheel-drive model and 702 km WLTP<\/strong> for the single-motor Long Range. These figures are quoted from the original review, which did not identify every market and wheel configuration. They are not independently verified specifications for a particular vehicle; actual range varies with conditions and configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charging is particularly straightforward at Tesla Superchargers: connect the available cable and payment is handled through the registered account. Home charging is also convenient with suitable equipment such as Tesla\u2019s Wall Connector, although its charging speed differs substantially from DC Supercharging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior and equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The review described the cabin as simple and elegant<\/strong>, with good materials and finishes that compared favourably with more expensive cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is seating for five, and folding the rear seats expands the available luggage space. The original review quoted 425 litres while discussing storage. That should not be treated as the Highland\u2019s combined cargo volume: Tesla\u2019s manual lists 88 litres in the front trunk and 594 litres behind the second row, totalling 682 litres with five passengers. The rear boot opening is relatively narrow, but the review found the overall layout practical for everyday use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black upholstery was the included option, with white available at extra cost for a brighter cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built-in services such as Spotify, YouTube and Netflix<\/strong> provide entertainment, subject to the relevant connectivity and service requirements. Video viewing is intended for when the vehicle is parked. Over-the-air updates can add features and improve the experience over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The review also praised the audio system, precise climate controls and the Tesla app\u2019s range of remote functions, available with the necessary data connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a starting price of \u20ac39,990 quoted for January 2025<\/strong>, the Model 3 represented strong value in the original assessment.
